Global South Development Initiatives (GSDI) is a Non-Government Organisation based in Tanzania which strives to empower the rural and urban communities with adaptive resilience strengthening mechanisms to enable them to confront local and global challenges with an ultimate goal of eradicating poverty. GSDI work to realize the following aspiration.
- To raise youth awareness about human rights, public policies and civic education as well as encouraging community participation in public policy formulation.
- To promote access and utilization of youth friendly reproductive health services, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), Malaria and other communicable and non- communicable diseases.
- To promote entrepreneurship among young women and men by the providing precise information about market opportunities, training in business skills, access to capital (credit and other financial services).
- To mobilize the community to participate in addressing climate change for sustainable development.
- To improve community livelihood through carrying out impactful and sustainable development interventions.
